Servant’s Heart is a praise band, providing primarily contemporary praise & worship music wherever and whenever it is requested and appropriate. Servant’s Heart plays at annual church bazaars, youth / adult retreats and all kinds of special events. Our extensive song list has a song for just about everything.

The formation of Servant’s Heart was a total God thing. It actually started back in 2000 when two members of the struggling charismatic prayer group at St. Bartholomew's in Katy started praying hard for live Praise & Worship music to be present in their church. At that time it did not seem attainable, but the thought stayed in their heads, and the prayer never left their hearts.

Then, in 2003, things started happening. God brought several friends together and planted a seed, a vague plan, and the thought that it just might be possible. At first, it was just a “what if” thing, then, as soon as they started moving, God moved again. He called others into contact with them, and then it just – WAS; Servant's Heart.

The next thing we knew we were playing the weekly LifeTeen Mass as well as playing for events in other churches, writing songs, singing and planning and praying – always praying.

In reality, we don’t think we have a band at all, God does, and we just kind of run it for Him. We put everything we have into each song we sing because the process is precious to us, and we want everyone to experience the joy we experience and hear the good news.

It’s a lot more work than we thought it would be, but we feel it
is wonderful to be of service.

Our first recording was a single called "Hail Mary" released in 2004 and somehow it still finds its way into just about every gig we do.

In 2007 "Before The Cross" was released. It contained all original songs except for a cover of "King" by Tree63. The first CD pressing is just about gone, so go by CD Baby and get yours now. (There is a link at the top of this page)

Our latest CD released in November 2009 is called "Seasons of Faith." Each song represents a season in the liturgical year. You can use the Tunecore widget at the top of this page to preview and download the entire album or individual songs. We hope you find these songs fresh and inspirational.
